The Sea Area Forecast covers Irish Coastal Waters out to 30 nautical miles, and also includes the Irish Sea area. A familiar part of most Irish households, the melodic daily forecast is issued and broadcast live from Met Éireann’s General Forecasting Division on RTÉ Radio 1.

Illustrator and Sea Area forecast enthusiast Fergus O'Neill has produced this limited edition print in honour of this Irish institution. Screen printed by hand in Irishtown, Dublin 4 on a restored fifty-year-old Italian Mini FAS screen print table, the print lists the weather stations around Ireland from Malin head (clockwise) to the Bloody Foreland. A two colour screen print with a third colour applied as gold leaf, each print is numbered and signed by Fergus.

Technical details: Printed on 400gsm uncoated, acid-free paper. From a signed edition of 80. Dimensions: A3 (297 x 420mm)
